Timbaland is making some shocking revelations to E! in his True Hollywood special.

The super-producer, born Timothy Mosley, opens about building the careers of superstars Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott, suicidal thoughts, and secret love for Aaliyah.

On Aaliyah: “When I first met Aaliyah—it’s time for the world to hear this, I’m gonna give up a little secret—I was in love with her. I said, But I’m not… She just a baby, I’m old. I said to myself, ‘I’m just gonna be her brother.’ Oh man, I was fightin’, I was fightin’ a lot—a big war. But I loved Aaliyah.”

On Justin Timberlake: “Me and Justin, it’s the weirdest thing. We just say we’re gonna kill them and then we kill them…We get together, we break bread and we spill out music. That’s what we do.”

On Missy Elliott: “She was just super dope…she was God-sent; that was my sister.”

On his weight gain: “I was almost 400 pounds. Who wants to be a 400-pound black man? I’m looking in the mirror, my breast is bigger than a girl breast. And I was saying, ‘That ain’t cool.’ So I got very depressed, like suicidal depressed.”

On his marriage to wife Monique: “It’s probably hard to be married to me. It’s not easy. I’m a musical genius. I’m weird, I do crazy things, it’s not like the average norm. But I’m a loving guy.”

I'm glad Timbaland didn't hit that @ Aaliyah because she was still underage when they started working lol plus he was probably in a relationship (or married) anyways.

I'm positive Tim did try to get with Aaliyah but was most likely turned down.

He admits to having a crush on her but he was saying that she was like a "little sister" to him not too long ago. Rejected.

Im not really sure, and now obviously no one will ever really know, R can say what he wants but without aaliyah its always going to be "his words" so a one sided story is worth as much as the music business is right now, and hearing his side after other things i have heard from him, i dont care to hear him on that subject, its buried so to speak.

The rumours were a marriage, and then a quick annullment, but to me that requires paperwork of some sort and SOMEONE would have sold that shit out years ago. So i think they were most likely just "together" and the family didnt want it obviously, i mean i dont remember if R was married at the time, but he was quite a bit older, and still, she was a minor technically, so regardless of "Age aint nothing but a number" not of legal age blasts that theory without any question or excuses

Entertainment Weekly published the marriage license in their article on Aaliyah after she died. I saw it-it was issued in Cook County, IL. I remember being shocked cause mainstream publications don't usually get in black people's business like that
