HUNG UP

Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly

Every little thing that you say or do
I'm hung up
I'm hung up on you
Waiting for your call
Baby night and day
I'm fed up
I'm tired of waiting on you

Time goes by so slowly for those who wait
No time to hesitate
Those who run seem to have all the fun
I'm caught up
I don't know what to do

Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
Time goes by so slowly
I don't know what to do

Every little thing that you say or do
I'm hung up
I'm hung up on you
Waiting for your call
Baby night and day
I'm fed up
I'm tired of waiting on you

Every little thing that you say or do
I'm hung up
I'm hung up on you

Waiting for your call
Baby night and day
I'm fed up
I'm tired of waiting on you

Ring ring ring goes the telephone
The lights are on but there's no-one home
Tick tick tock it's a quarter to two
And I'm done
I'm hanging up on you

I can't keep on waiting for you
I know that you're still hesitating
Don't cry for me
'cause I'll find my way
you'll wake up one day
but it'll be too late

Every little thing that you say or do
I'm hung up
I'm hung up on you
Waiting for your call
Baby night and day
I'm fed up
I'm tired of waiting on you

Every little thing that you say or do
I'm hung up
I'm hung up on you
Waiting for your call
Baby night and day
I'm fed up
I'm tired of waiting on you

^^^ Wow man that is very good for 3 days, good interpretation of the expression

Thanks! smile I can see a few things wrong with it, and if you look at the purple I put in the background you can see how carefully I had to paint round Madonna 'cos her paint was still wet!! Oils take forever and a day to dry though.

Someone has said I should do more and sell them, but I'm not I could part with my work (unless the money was proper crazy! lol)

Yeah I see, but it also give a look of movement

What can I say, my fave Madge era? Possibly. I became a fan between Immaculate Collection and Erotica (aged 10)...I became a hardcore fan when Ray of Light came out....and I guess I became an ultra hardcore fan when Confessions was released.

Can't remember listening to an album on the first play-through and immediately realising it would be one of my all time faves...but it happened with Confessions. I was so pleased Madonna got back to doing proper dance music. Aside from the last couple of tracks it was made entirely for the dancefloor....and not in a cheesy way, it was actually great dance music. I even lent it to some of my serious clubbing / raving friends and they were impressed (and they aren't easily impressed!! lol)

Confessions also marks the first time I saw M in concert, at Wembley Arena for the Confessions tour....god knows why I hadn't been to see her before (or gone to any concert for that matter)...I assumed it would be too expensive, tickets would be too hard to come by, etc. But I had one of the best nights of my life...so much so I had post concert withdrawal afterwards and almost spent a forture going to another show the following week! biggrin

Ray of Light & Confessions are the 2 of the 2000's that I can listen to all the way thru

a bit off topic I love the musical style of songs like What It Feels Like For a Girl & Miles Away

My total favorite from Confessions is Sorry ( I love how she says sorry in different languages and her Italian is so sexy)

I hate being pedantic, but Ray of Light was 1990s (1998)... :-D Great call on What If Feels Like For A Girl and Miles Away...two of my all time fave Madge tracks biggrin

If there weren't already so many M threads, I'd start a Music Appreciation thread. That's my favorite from the 00s.

But back to the almost as flawless confessions era:

I got this viynl remix album just last month, only 20$. Amazing for my collection.

Arnotts

Although the lyrics are a bit dire the only thing I LOVE about this era is I Love New York. Other than that I think its a highly overrated album. She looked damn good most of the time though. Only time she looked awful was when her hair was too feathered.

The first official photos of the H&M Madonna & Crew campaign have been released by Ness & Mauritz AB together with a new press release, with a confirmation of what MadonnaTribe anticipated to M-fans last June.

On June 02 this website exclusively reported for the first time online that photographer Rankin was the man in charge of the new Madonna & crew photoshoot for H&M, also informing fans about the shooting happening that first week-end of July.

As usual, we are happy we can bring our readers real exclusive news, so keep checking MadonnaTribe.com for more exciting previews. Thank You! In the meantime, enjoy the first brand new images of Madonna & Crew on our News section by clicking the image below.

Madonna and her entire 150 person crew for the "Confessions Tour" each found clothes that reflect their own individual styles while shopping at H&M. The international fashion retailer agreed to provide a complete wardrobe for Madonna and her 'touring family' as part of a long term agreement that includes an upcoming advertising campaign between H&M and the Material Girl.

With H&M and their world famous designers specializing in clothes for all family members, it seemed an ideal combination for the musicians, dancers, makeup artists, management and crew members of Team Madonna to have the opportunity to find exactly what they needed once they got offstage. The entire team was given the chance to choose from H&M's latest collection which included Victorian romantics, British classics and couture inspired pieces.

In addition, Madonna worked with H&M designers to create a unique track suit to wear while she's on the road. The tracksuit comes in black, white and purple. The top (euro 29.90) is narrow and feminine with a yoke and gathering and the trousers (euro 19.90) are fitted at the top with wide legs and detailed with zippers.

"We are pleased to be able to offer this track suit to our customers by mid-August" stated H&M's head of design, Margareta van den Bosch.

In H&M's upcoming advertising campaign, the dancer Sophia chose a black shiny nylon jacket with metallic press buttons teamed with loose fit jeans. Fellow dancer Cloud wore a striped and grey melange T-shirt with jeans and a matching hat. Madonna's very chic makeup artist Gina Brooke wore a black pencil skirt with a matching couture style blouse and sky high heels. Dave the Rigger chose a plain T-shirt and denim jeans and tour production manager Chris chose a checked cotton shirt to his denim jeans. Madonna's manager Angela Becker selected a silk camisole and black slacks under a grey melange wool vest.

H&M's autumn collection is built around four trends: mix and match for a complete look. Retro couture inspiration - chic, coordinated, romanticism with reference from the turn of the century, Classics of the classics - British style tailoring and knitwear updated in unexpected materials and color combinations, 1980's music scene - sleek rock style.

The advertising campaign is scheduled to begin in August 2006.

BBC Children In Need backstage picture
Posted: 23 November 2005

This wonderful picture of Madonna hugging the BBC's Children In Need mascot Pudsey Bear was published in the latest edition of UK magazine OK! (29 November issue 497) - the magazine also had a quick chat with Madonna backstage.

'Once you have kids, you understand the vulnerability of children and you start freaking out when you hear about some kid going through some kind of suffering or being abused or not having food,' she confided.

'Any organisation that is helping children just has me, and when I was asked to lend a helping hand to Children In Need at Live 8, I jumped at the chance. You see, children are going to grow up one day and we need to look after them and give them guidance abd love. Then the world will be a better place when they grow up.'

When asked if she enjoyed meeting Children In Need's very own Pudsey, she joked: 'I loved meeting him. He's a British institution and I'm hoping to become one too. And I just totally loved Pudsey's bandanna. It's very fashionable, you know.'

Released June 6, 2006

the song was released as the third single from the album by Warner Bros. Records on June 6, 2006. The decision was spurred by the fact that "Get Together" was the third most downloaded song from the album. It was also released to coincide with the start of Madonna's Confessions Tour. Inspired by Stardust's single "Music Sounds Better with You", "Get Together" portrays an anthem-like picture with its lyrics, about the different possibilities of finding love on the dance floor.

Contemporary critics appreciated the song, calling it fluid in nature and a wonderful dance track. They complimented Madonna's ability to turn cliché comments into pop slogans with the song. After its worldwide release, the song became a success on the dance charts of the United States but failed to enter the official Billboard Hot 100 chart. It reached the top ten in countries like Canada, the United Kingdom and Italy and topped the chart in Spain.

The accompanying music video incorporated Madonna's performance of the song at London's Koko Club, but it was animated to make it different visually. The video showed Madonna singing the song amongst graphical visuals portraying volcanoes erupting and a cityscape. Madonna performed the song on her Confessions Tour where she was accompanied by two dancers wearing horse reins around their head.

Get Together

(There's too much confusion)
(It's all an illusion)
(there's too much confusion)

Down, down, down in your heart
Find, find, find the secret
Turn, turn, turn your head around
Baby we can do it
We can do it all right

Do you believe in love at first sight
It's an illusion, I don't care
Do you believe I can make you feel better
Too much confusion, come on over here

[Chorus]
Can we get together?
I really, I really wanna be with you
Come on, check it out with me
I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too

I searched, I searched, I searched my whole life
To find, find, find the secret
But all I did was open up my eyes
Baby we can do it
we can do it all right

Do you believe that we can change the future
Do you believe I can make you feel better

[Chorus X2]

It's all an illusion
There's too much confusion
I'll make you feel better
If it's bitter at the start
Then it's sweeter in the end
