Life After: Christopher Williams

So did anyone catch his episode last week on TVOne? Didn't really give me much info that I didn't know already. It was interesting to see that he and Wesley actually went to school together and appeared to be close, yet they ended up daing the same woman (Halle Berry) and were both accused of beating her so bad that she ended up losing hearing in one of her ears. Again, Williams denies that he abused Halle and that it was Wesley who was he culprit. But how can they veer into that topic yet he didn't mention he has a kid with Stacy Dash? confuse Anywho, the man is still fine as may wine drool and can still sing his ass off.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I didn't know they were friends either? Maybe thats how Chris got that little part in "New jack city"

"Pretty muthafucker" lol

I still like Chris' first two albums. He had a great voice. He could do the uptempos aswell as the slow jams and quiet stormers and I wish he did more of them....

Stacy and Halle? The man had good taste LOL.

They also talked about how his aunt was jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald (which I already knew)...but they didn't talk about how him and Al B. Sure! are cousins. confuse

I had no idea they were cousins (knew about Ella though, he mentions it on the credits off his first album).

So as Kyle West was Al's cousin, was Chris the brother of Kyle West? Or was he another cousin LOL.

People thought Teddy was Al b's cousin and Teddy was Kyle West or some bullshit.

I often think "I'm dreamin'" would of been great for Michael Jackson LOL.

I love how goofy "I talk to myself" is. That and how its a complete rips off "My prerogative".

He never got the proper promotion! Also that ugly Halle Berry rumor never helped. Very sad how lots of artists are never given their proper shine. Chris could've been MEGA. He has the looks, voice, musicianship(writes & plays instruments) and can act.

Williams voice was fine /OK, but nothing extraordinary. I think Williams' career floundered because he was never able to find his sound/voice. He wasn't able to pull all the pieces togher, that's why they call it show Business.

This was the reason he didn't go further. How many men in the entertainment business would you say is REALLY handsome.

I know there are some that have swagger, attitiude, nice dress, carry themselves well.... etc etc.

But how many do you think were cute as little boys? Are handsome men today? Have facial features that you would say is FINE?

Boris? the only one I can think of. Sorry to say... (and believe me.... I AM SORRY) that being handsome is not a prerequisite.

R Kelly, Celo, Musiq, Usher, Babyface, Jay Z, PDiddy, I can go on and on.. they can have nice voices, nice bodies, nice hair, nice clothes,..... all the trappings of a finely dressed wealthy man.... but are they FINE?

No. Average at best and some of the actors are down right ugly but they have swagger, presence etc that make them attractive.

I think Chris Williams was just too damn pretty. As the line goes.. Pretty muthafucka.

This and quality material was lacking. I think he has a great voice (I'd rather hear him than these r&b posers in the industry now) but at the same time, I think maybe he lost interest after Uptown MCA folded.

They dropped the ball on a couple of things, like the fact that he's Stacey Dash's baby-daddy, and what exactly is his racial make-up? Half Italian, maybe?

I was wondering that too...but then again, it's not that important I guess. But yeah all they said was that his mother gave him up to his aunt and his aunt adopted him. shrug

Yes! He said he wasn't able to escape the look. Its like guys wouldn't give him his propers b/c they felt threatened. I've seen it so many times with really great looking guys....another guy always got something slick to say. They get jealous too haha. And we women get some kinda way over a beautiful man...and that talk can trump the music talk.

**For real? Well I have the opposite prob haha! But I must say I dont call it 'soft' features...its call symmetry. Soft is kinda like a diss to a man.

***Anyhow his 2nd album is still one of my favs from that era.

I really don't care if some men think its a diss or not.. take it however they wish. shrug

I guess I could've insulted some men and said, feminine. Guys that have "soft features" look wise aren't masculine enough for me. I know a lot of men fine who have symmetry, but their look isn't feminine either. Needless to say that a personal opinion and preference.

they said that his mother was going through a difficult time handling responsibilities and therefore gave up Chris and his brother. Chris went to his aunt, his brother went to his grandmother. They never mentioned his father. Perhaps he didn't want that part of his life mentioned. shrug

I did! wave

I enjoyed it. Chris still looks good. The years have been kinder to him than they have his cousin Al B. Sure.

It was strange that he left out having a child with Stacey Dash and there was no mention of his other kids. Stacey to this day doesn't even talk about Chris. Rumor is they broke up cuz he was heavily into threesomes. As for the beating...everybody and their momma know that is was Wesley who beat Halle Berry's ass. Supposedly he beat other girlfriends before her.

Also, and maybe I missed this, but isn't he still married? They made it seem like Chris got nothing going on in his life but urban plays.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
