This reminds me of The Blackbyrds or Roy Ayers. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. I was about to say, this album has Roy Ayers name written all over it.
Another project that reminds me of Roy's side project s James Mason "Rhythm of Life". And sure 'nuff, turned out they worked together previously. | |
