Katy Perry's latest single has peaked at 18 so far. It's been on the charts for 4 weeks. Last week it was at 32! She may break MJ's record! Noooooooo! I hope the song peaks at like 2 or something. She can't beat MJ she just can't :'(

Honestly I dont mind her, is she the second coming, no, but shes fun, seems to enjoy herself and as of yet doesn't act like she' some sort of amazingly talented artist who thinks that all of her "art" is superior to everything else out there.

I find her to be rather refreshing.

I just find her irritating cause she comes off like a poser, I felt that since I heard I Kissed a Girl. I liked the Hot and Cold song a little, and that last song that beat the record is so damn catchy...and perfect for Jersey Shore fans.

Frankly, I'm not worried about records, Jackson has a lot, so he can share with colleagues, but obviously not with Katy, her songs are average at best.

Smooth Criminal probably didn't go to #1 cause it was at the end of the album era, though I know other artists managed to still do it. Maybe APOM and Smooth Criminal should have been switched.
