Aw, sorry buddy... Didn't mean to give you such a traumatizing Ford-flashback!
That is a freaky line. Very hip though. One of those you'd have to keep in your daily practice routine or notes would start disappearing. In this live version, it sounds like RF's axe could stand a good tuning.
I'd hate to have to be the keyboard player and keep that bassline going during the head and solo sections. I saw them do this live and it looked like Ferrante's left forearm was gonna explode.

My dad owned this album back in the eighties, I have worn it out! I still think it is their most enjoyable album, smooth and funky... RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |
