Ciara Teams Up With Producer Hit-Boy For New Album

November 16, 2011

Looks as if Ciara is calling in the big shots for her Epic Records debut.

The sexy singer enlisted G.O.O.D. Music producer Hit-Boy ( Jay-Z & Kanye’s "Ni**as In Paris") who spoke to MTV news and divulged some info on their upcoming record.

“I did a record for Ciara. It’s called ‘Hit Boy,’ written by this producer/writer Soundz. He’s amazing, so be on the lookout for that,” he said, describing the sound as “energetic, for the club, for the radio.”

“It’s almost the same type of energy as a ‘Ni**as in Paris,’ so I’m super excited for people to hear that. That’s like one of my best beats that I’ve done in a while.”

There is a lane wide open for a female urban dance act. I just don't know if she can fit the bill or not. We'll see. I am sick of dance being limited to one generic sound. She's a dance artist. Do dance music but your own way. If she's chases Gaga, Katy, Rihanna and the like, she is ova, as Graycap would say.

My problem with her is that she just can't sing very well and her material is so pedestrian.

This I agree with. We havent had one since Janet and its very wide open for her OR anyone really BUT I have to admit Im rooting for Monae in this department... Ciara isnt a good singer at all. If she at least changes her material and get with the right people she might have a chance. If she chases after the radio or trying to compete with her peers its not going to work

Yeah, I hear you on her singing. Which is why I emphasized her being a dance artist. It's not a major requirement in that genre. You're far too kind....pedestrian is being nice biggrin We'll see what LA does with her.

I'd rather have Mya comeback, she'd dance all of these heffas under the table (Ciara, Beyonce, Keri, Rihanna).

here she goes again...making another predictable album that won't sound too different from the last one,and the one before it.
