that song is so old. used to like it back in 1988 when i was a kid but have since forgotten about it until now.

He surely did. I think this was originally recorded by him as a "Faith" outtake but then it became a demo version for Deon... Deon basically copied his vocal phrasing in the song. You almost think it IS George! Plus he can be clearly heard singing background.

Thanks. That's what I thought. And yeah, this is George Michael doing his best Prince imitation of producing. He's all over those background vocals.
