Who remembers this feud between these two legendary rappers?

You can't be in your mid-30's or above, not remember it, and call yourself a hip-hop head. The best rap battle ever.

I remember. It was hilarious waiting for the responses to each other to come out. I was all about Kool Moe Dee back then. But the Ladies Love Cool James and he has stood the test if time.

I never liked Moe Dee that much back then, but I do now. And I know that this feud between LL and Moe Dee was all about respect and who had the best skills on the mic. But I'll have to say LL was a lot more versatile when it came to rhymin, while Moe Dee was stuck with one style.

I strongly remember Cool J serving Moe Dee of "Break Of Dawn"...Moe Dee pretty much fell off a little bit after that.....

Remember when LL was skinny with a bird chest? That's the hardest part for me to believe nowadays. LOL

I was about two or three when the whole thing between LL and Kool went down... lol I always thought Kool's skills was more advanced but LL came at Kool like a boxing champ, he damn near ended Kool's career with "Mama Said Knock You Out".

I don't remember ever choosing sides with this one even though I thought Cool J was the best rapper around at the time. Kool Moe had skills that earned respect but Cool J had the youth and swagger.

Moe won the first match.

LL won the rematch, as well as the tie breaker later on to win the entire feud.

My dad thinks Moe Dee is the best rapper ever.
