George Harrison: Living in the Material World - HBO Documentary

GEORGE HARRISON: LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD focuses the imaginative and inspired eye of one of cinema's most preeminent filmmakers on one of the world's most influential men. The film takes viewers on the musical and spiritual voyage that was George Harrison's live, much of it told in his own words. The result is deeply moving and touches each viewer in unique and individual ways.

The original thread by Identity, http://prince.org/msg/8/362901, can no longer take calls.
Regarding the question posed by MickyDolenz, Jackie Stewart (Harrison friend and Formula One driver) is prominently featured in the segment I saw.

Definitely worth watching. They didn't try to sanitize him or make him out to be a guru, but seemed pretty mature and thoughtful at a really young age, dealt with fame and the good and bad that went along with it.

Even though this isn't in the movie, this is pretty funny.

I watched this last week. One of the best docu's I've seen all year (next to the Black Power Mixtape film).

George was a true gentleman and he loved his music and life. He wasn't caught up in being a celeb. show off.

His widow Olivia is still beautiful and his son Dhani looks just like him.

This was a well-made documentary. Highly recommended. I shed a number of tears by the end of the mammoth presentation. George lived such a remarkable life and I am so proud of Martin Scorsese for giving us a glimpse of it in all its glory.
