Such an underappreciated band/catalog. I really see them as the second coming of the Beatles. Though they all have really distinct and effective voices, Kasim and Todd's blend together so well. I've been wearing this joint out for the past couple weeks; can't decide if I like the studio or live version better:

The Utopia album Deface The Music was a great set of original tunes done as a tribute to The Beatles.
Totally agree about how Todd and Kasim's voices blend. The last time I saw them together was a H.O.B. gig in '07 here is L.A.: "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all." | |
