Underrated

Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers

As I learn more about them....would there really be any boy bands were it not for this group?

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
RIP Dick Clark, Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Heavy D, and Donna Summer. rose

Underrated

Rapper Eazy E

IMHO...

He gave us NWA which put Cali on the map as a force to be reckoned with in the world of Rap and introduced the once popular genre GANGSTA RAP.

He was influential in incorporating 70s funk with hardcore rap lyrics thus helping Hip Hop to replace rap.

He was a business man despite barely getting out of highschool . How many rappers can you name that have successfully transitioned from drug dealer to record label founder/owner?

He inadvertently gave us Eminem (by way of Dr. Dre falling out with Eazy and going solo as a producer). Add Snoop Dog to that list.

He inadvertently gave us Black Eyed Peas. I think people forget or perhaps never knew that the original members of BEP were once signed with Ruthless Records. They moved on after Eazy's death and went from being Atban Klann to B.E.P

definitely underrated especially if you credit him with exposing AIDS in the rap world. Not to sound too preachy but I'm sure before Eazy E, rappers thought nothing of riding raw. Now they rap about "jimmys". lol
