Whaaa????? eek

Ok I have to confess that bolded statement is funny as hell. I mean when you think about the lyrics , it really is a praise for a black man from his black woman. Now her clean up, if she indeed made the remark and tried to deny it, is weak as hell.

Didn't EURweb make a similar charge about another artist? The paragraph sounds awfully familiar.

It's possible.

It would've been better if she had said "all you weak ass bitches sit down". lol A "straight" guy can be a weak ass bitch. smile

nod absolute truth!

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

SoulAlive

It's funny the way someone could make an offensive remark at a concert (in front of hundreds of people) and then later deny that they said it lol At least two fans insist that she said it:

***Stanley Crawford,a gay fan who attended the show, says mouths dropped as the 400-plus crowd looked on in silent shock. Crawford kept his hand in the air and came anxiously close to walking out on the show. "I was really shocked that she would say something like that," he lamented, "I felt like somebody had slapped me across my face."

***"Rhonda," a straight Black woman who prefers to remain anonymous, also attended the show and was taken aback by Stone's alleged insults. "I was very disappointed by [her statements], actually, because I like her as an artist," Rhonda admitted. "To make a song like that in support of Black men and then to negate that-I didn't understand that. We're all one family."

hmmm now either those two people are lying,or Angie Stone is lying.

I think Angie made that comment, thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. Then when she was confronted about it,she conveniently "forgot" that particular show lol

Neither George Michael or Elton John were out when ReRe worked with them. Give her credit if she deserves it but don't use them as examples.
