Not taking anything from him because he's a great producer and a pioneer of West Coast rap but I think he took too much credit for what was really collaboration.

Which is why I would never place Dr. Dre alone by himself... it will always be collectively with NWA.

nod Plus D.O.C. too.

Who would have easily been in the top 20 had he not been injured. He had all the tools he needed, and when he blew onto the scene he was the West Coast's answer to Rakim. Dope MC.

No mention of E-40? One of the best of all time, better than DMX for sure in my opinion. Forget his commercial sound, he's been around since about 1990 and made many classics!
Crazy flow, crazy lyrics, very unique with amazing production.

I love E-40, more so than X, but I don't know about him being put over him.

40 Water os a legend though.

So, since X was at the hip hop awards, does this mean all his legal issues are resolved?

At this point, I think he has been arrested more than Bobby and ODB

He's beaten Bobby probably. lol Bobby hasn't been arrested for a good deal since 2007. lol

I don't wanna jinx it but yeah I think X has them both beat. X said he's pursuing a lawsuit against the Arizona police department lol let's see how that flies.

Least it ain't drugs so hopefully he stays off them - and have someone drive for him next time please?! lol

Pressure

I wouldn't say one of the greatest of all time, but if you make a list of top 5 rappers of the 90's, it's impossible to overlook DMX. He was the shit during his prime.
