I agree.
I really hope on a tour just as great as Confessions Tour,

^^ really? eek I think S&S was her best tour since The Blonde Ambition Tour!!! it had humor, many different songs from each album, good remixes, a good stage, upbeat dancers, variety, hip-hop, techno, dance, pop, rock, a deranged folkie/gypsy section, etc. It was, at the very least, unpredictable, and that's always a good thing

Confessions Tour: good, but too predictable, cold techno sound, too many songs off Confessions, slighty arrogant attitude by M, AND way too many dancers outstaging the queen...

Reinvention Tour: bullshit, pure and simple. Her worst tour, touring one of her lesser albums...

Drowned World: hmm, not bad, but it felt like a safe, random "pop hits" tour, I mean, the Ray of Light songs were highlights, and I truly like the rendition of "Gone" (cowboy hat and all), but the rest was...unremarkable

Girlie Show: I don't like the look Madonna had at that time, set-list too short, and not enough "sex" (despite trying to be an X-Rated tour), if you're going to do a "sex tour"...then do it all the way down!

Drowned worl playing it safe? Really? She played alot of album songs for that tour and I loved it!

Reinvention bullshit? HELL NAH!

I loved the entire atmosphere of the Confessions tour!

S&S may have had more variety than the other tours. but I I thought that it came off somewhat disjointed.

The Girlie Show was fantastic! I especially like the band that she had. Those guys were great, especially the drummer Omar. She needs to find another band like that. They brought new life to those songs.Nowadays, her tours rely too much on pre-recorded techno sounds. That certainly wasn't the case with The Girlie Show.

Sticky And Sweet had some thrilling moments, but a few things annoyed me.I have no problem with her playing guitar on a few numbers but only if the song has alot of guitar to begin with.On this tour, she took pop/dance songs like "Borderline" and "Hung Up" and attempted to turn them into rock songs. She ruined those songs! The latin segment went on for too long.I was bored. She actually had a great band for this tour, but it was hard to notice because this show focused mostly on the dancers and the choreography.

Re-Invention Tour was nice.I went to all three shows in my area and had a good time.I wish she would release it on DVD though,so I can re-live it again.

Confessions Tour was "too predictable"? disbelief I think it had plenty of surprises...."Erotica/You Thrill Me"....."Lucky Star" (a song that most of us thought she would never perform again)....a cool version of "Like A Virgin".And who could have predicted that she would perform Donna Summer's "I Feel Love"?

I remember when Drowned World aired on HBO; I found it boring and pretentious. She also seemed very disconnected from the audience.

I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Yeah, that show was definitely her most 'sexual' lol If it had been any more outrageous, she would have gotten arrested, lol.

As for the dream setlists, I don't know that ANYONE is ever giong to challenge her to pull out any surprises like "Confessions" did with "Erotica (You Thrill Me)". I miss that guy...what's his name? She made a great album with him, drained him and left him to die? What's his face?

That performance was incredible!! A surprising way to reinvent one of her old songs.I'd like to see more performances like this one.....where an older song is given new life. The choreography is great, too.

Great performance. Thanks for posting.

S&S felt like the woman of BA 20 years later trying too hard...where as confessions felt like a natural progression of BA 15 years later
