This list was hard, because I listen to as much as I can, but it's hard for me to actually like an artist. The only way I know that I like an artists' work is that I, actively, seek out their discography & enjoy listening to a HUGE portion of it. Some artists' work completely underwhelm me though so I end up not seeking it out or not even really listening to it. Like, I really like Janet Jackson, but aside from some tracks on just 3 albums and a collab here and there...meh...

MJ was the hardest of my favorites to pick 5 songs for.. there's far too many great ones. I wanted to include Smooth Criminal, Man In The Mirror, Earth Song, and probably a few others, but I stuck to just a top 5. I'm surprised nobody picked 'They Don't Care About Us' .. that's always been my favorite song ever since I became a fan.

"Across the Universe" is my favorite song ever.

"No Line on the Horizon" is my very favorite U2 album and I love the title track the most. "Kite" is a beautiful song and I think Bono's voice sounds great on it. They actually sang "Kite" when they were here in Mpls and I screamed so loud and the guy sitting next to me goes, "Dude, this ain't "Sunday Bloody Sunday." I have no idea why, but I just dig "Playboy Mansion" and can listen to it over and over and over. "Red Hill Mining Town" has always been my favorite song from Joshua Tree, and "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own," is a beautiful lyric and I love Edge's vocals on it and the line "It's you when I don't pick up the phone" is just heartbreaking.
