Outkast new release....

I just heard Outkast new song on the radio, I'm not sure of what it's called, but the first thing that came 2 mind when I heard, this sounds like Prince... Not only does the music put you in the mind of Prince, but the beat in the background sounds as if it was either sample from Koo Koo or Escape, I recommend u should give it a listen, it's a cool song coming from a fairly new rap group. I always did love Outkast for their orginal style in hip hip ...

A.T.L in the house!!! One of the greatest hip-hop acts EVER. These brothers keep coming up with great concepts for their albums, and their albums hit hard too. None of their albums are weak IMHO!!! Ain't nothing like some Fried Southern Funk, and these brothers can and will put that STANK on ya or Stan-kon-ia!!!

Does anyone know when this comes out? I went to their website, and it just said to expect a new album in the first quarter of 2003.

Are you sure it wasn't Killer Mike's" A.D.I.D.A.S." featuring Big Boi? I haven't heard anything about a new Outkast single out yet.

I didn't know anything about Outkast until I saw B.O.B. on tv, and I was pretty impressed. The song is killer. I heard So Fresh, So Clean and Ms. Jackson, but it wasn't until The Whole World that I knew I had to buy some of their stuff. Fortunately, The Whole World was from their Greatest Hits, so I bought that.

Songs like Rosa Parks and especially SPOTTIEOTTIEDOPALISCIOUS make me glad that I bought it!

That greatest hits barely scratches the surface of quality material. Quite a few great songs were left off of it.

to ecnirpnz: man, you need to get AQUEMINI (one of the greatest hip hop albums EVER) and STANKONIA at least...ATliens is great too, but not as varied as the funk of the former two. Quite a few great songs were left of the greatest hits? No...MANY were left off it!

Yeah all four LPs are stand alone must haves. Sadly I think they've been away a little too long and "Whole World" and the greatest hits CD it was taken from may not be enough to tide over a fickle marketplace... if they come back strong and instant I guess they can resume from where they left off with Stankonia though.

Trust me they won't miss a beat. Maybe this time they can get that number one spot on billboard.

I think they need some Rawness."Whole World&The Scooby Doo Track were Both Corny&you couldn't Dance to it.I think they have gotten to Polished in some instances&I See LA Reid's Fingers all over there Stuff as of late.but they have nothing to prove almost 10 years in the Game&5 Albums in Rap is like a 20 Year Career in Pop&between 7-9 Albums in Pop Music in general so that is DAMN Good for them.I think they have Peaked but I think they will continue to have Success though.

I agree with you on that. It's not like they have to prove themselves anymore thus the passion fades somewhat.
