Beyonce is probably not too concerned with the criticism, though. The Destiny Child front-woman, turned solo artist, turned Mrs. S. Carter, is expecting her first child with mega-star husband, Jay-Z.

I can see what he means but can't the same be said for Madonna and Whitney? There boring to listen to sometimes as well but great so see live. Also Mj, Prince, Bowie, Kiss etc. Image is important. These aren't the ''radio days''

Beyonce has ALWAYS been mediocre. But like someone said above she manages to make the most of what she has, and of course her looks help and her marketing squad. Other than that, there is nothing special about her talent wise shes a dime a dozen.. her talent can be easily duplicated.

she is still very 'hood' imo. i mean if she wasn't she wouldnt be with a man like jayz, right. you can tell she's had some work done tho. i miss her dark hair too. like mariah carey she's gone way too lite.

Boring? That Simon has the audacity to call Beyonce boring when his company is behind such elevator music favorites as: Il Divo, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle, and Jackie Evancho is pure comedy. Yeah…right.

They seem like they were trying to be too much like my favorite female group TLC.

Also just for those that didn't know. Prince protege Tamar(aka Ashley real name) was in this early group. If U look carefully she had a solo part rapping in this song.
