This has been sad indeed, as all of you have said.
The thing is that Bowie's retirement is an action conducive to such inmoral speculation in our society. One of the biggest pop stars of all time makes a Howard Hugues after a heart attack. Millions of people are dying to see him, to know something of him, not to speak of hearing some new music. So there'll always be someone who wants to take adavantage of that situation. They can say he's recording in Berlin, as happened in 2009, or they can say he's been seen buying a shirt, or they can say he's dying. Even more in the internet, where you can say what you want without any control.
Bowie could really have health issues. But even if that were the case, the news of Fuckenberry is a piece of shit difficult to equal, and that site deserves to be forgotten by all of us. Anyway, I hope he is OK. | |

Also, a total retirement of a solo pop star is not frequent. Anybody remember a similar case? Now only Lennon comes to my mind (and that lasted only 5 years). It's very strange and conducive to speculation, even more considering it happened after a heart attack. The sad thing is that people should speculate at home or with their friends, not when writing in a web site that's read by many people. | |
