Better Singer: Adele Or Joss Stone?

I am personally a fan of both of these Brit singers, but who's vocals do you think are better?

Joss Stoneadele

ADELE! Her voice has power as well as poise, Joss is all power no control.

Adele!

Joss can sing, but is all over the place.

Adele has a gorgeous voice and doesn't oversing like Joss.

Never heard of the 1st one, so Joss.

Why not go on youtube & check some of Adele's music out, then answer? That way, you can give a legitimate response lol

Adele. I'm not a fan of Joss' post Betty Wright stuff.

If she's someone on the radio, not interested.

You may not have heard a radio in the last year and I still wouldn't believe you've never heard "Rolling in the Deep."

I prefer Joss, and her overall style. Adele is becoming overrated, in my opinion.

adele but that is because Joss stone sings way to hard it sounds forced and unatural. Sometimes as iff three differnt voices are coming out.

Even though adele has an average voice to me I seen so many people sing her song just as well as her, I don't think its amazing as what others try to make it seem to be.

I prefer NEITHER!!!!!

Joss gets annoying fast for me, whereas I could listen to Adele on repeat with her leaving me wanting more. her tone is so amazing, so enriching.

Adele musically, vocally and personally superior to Joss in every way. Joss is a fake and I'm surprised the US hasn't found her out yet.

Her US success peaked quickly though so they probably wouldn't have found out anyways even if some think she was fake (though I'm not totally big on her anyways so I wouldn't know if she was lol). I'm sure they're asking "where is she?" lol

Adele. Her voice seems natural/organic. She also comes off as humble and appreciative of the soul singers that have come before her. The power in her voice seems effortless and the quality of her music is superior to Stone's. Adele is far more transcendant as an artists and I like the fact that she's not made up to look like a stereotypical sex symbol. (Still loves you Xtina).

Now Joss ohgoon that woman is manufactured and artificial IMO. She attempts to sound like someone but then doesn't want to give props where props are due. I remember an interview with her where she was asked about her voice, sound and style and what black artists influenced her and she evaded the question by saying music has no color. WTF kind of BS answer is that? Just drop some names of artists you grew up listening to and were influenced by and call it a day. I think that was the first thing that turned me off about her.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

I never saw that interview. I've been trying to figure out why most people don't like her. Especially on this board.

Yeah I don't think it's really what caused her to be seen that way. Like some people find Adele overrated, some don't roll with Joss like that either. I don't think she's under or overrated since to me she didn't really make much of an impact to me.

The talent, beauty, youth and international success of Joss Stone annoys some people.

The faux-American accent sent the Brits into a typical little spin over her "fakeness". She acted daft, but she was 19 and a bit misguided/drunk/excitable, bless her... teenagers do tend to carried away by things(like multi-million record deals and achieving the holy grail of being Big in America). Amy Winehouse never reconciled her origins with her music either, and the few times I saw her she appeared ill at ease with her equally-fake-but-for-some-reason-ok persona.

Joss Stone's a technically better singer than Adele, you can argue over gravitas/soulfulness/realness whateverthefuck,

Talent, beauty, youth and international success? whofarted

She's average looking

Her youth is questionable as it seems to be me she been 24 for the last 4 years

And as far as international success, haven't her last two albums done poorly in comparison to the first?

All that you mentioned is subjective. lol I love what she does with her hair though.

spit And at the MTV awards the camera was on her face a lil too much during the Bey performance and semi-tribute to Amy. I thought she was going to pull a Lil Momma and jump on stage the way they kept turning the camera on to her.

Well....it was a toss up between her and Katy in terms of audience spot light.
