Yes they turned it to a comedy the performances were awful. I think the script was written by a black woman Im sure they were rewrites that's why the film bombed

I gotta read up on information on the movie. I knew the film was trouble when Little Richard stole the show. As he always do.

I'm more mad there's a thing called statue of limitations. That's MORE upsetting than Elmira suddenly forgetting whatever deal she made with Jimmy Merchant and Herman Santiago.

The statue of limitations definitely screwed them over but I absolutely believed Elmira made a deal with them then reneged. Very sad. I hope because of the trial they extended the statue of limitations law in music.

I hope so too. Jimmy Merchant and Herman Santiago had been getting a raw deal. They should be getting financial stability like Frankie Lymon's family or at least his widow.
