Mo' Money vs Boomerang?, Part II

Since the last thread was such a success, I wanna continue the conversation with both sdtks, since next year will mark their 20th Anniversary.

Well since I'm a 90's baby and a fan of both movies, I'd have to go with Mo' Money all the way. More memories and a fantastic soundtrack to boot. One of the Wayans best!

Boomerang is a great one as well, but Mo' Money takes the cake.

Boomerang for me. oved the Toni Braxton songs on the soundrack. Both films are pretty awful but Boomerang has a bigger re-watchability factor.

BOOMERANG!!

One of the top 5 Eddie Murphy movies.

GREAT cast, great direction/set....you know all that technical stuff!

Funny as all get out! I've seen this movie so many times I can't count.

Eddie was smooth....."Like Jet Magazine"!

"Boomerang" by a landslide. Eddie (looking like a fake ass Keith Washington) was funny and the story/all star cast was great. That was Eddie's last good film.

"Mo Money" was good but had too many storylines and didn't know if it wanted to be a comedy, action or mystery film.

I'm talking about the soundtracks here, people, not the movies!

BOOMERANG!

Mo Money had one good song that I like. Boomerang had several.lol Boomerang the film was much better than Mo Money. The combination of Eddie, Martin, and Grace Jones is unbeatable. Formula for success. They should have made a sequel in which Marcus and Halle's character were planning a wedding only to have it ruined by Grace Jones with claims that Marcus impregnated her. She sues Marcus for 3 years back child support. Lady Eloise appears in court as a witness! lol

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........i'll give the slight edge to Jam & Lewis' "Mo' Money" on this one. Kinda hard lol. However, if the next matchup would be "Waiting to Exhale" vs. "How Stella Got Her Groove Back", LaFace would even the score, easily.

I've never heard those soundtracks, besides, those were not as popular as the Mo' Money or Boomerang sdtks.

Mo' Money & Boomerang had a little more star power, but "Waiting to Exhale" was the most successful soundtrack out of all 4.

biggrin Funny! Send it to Eddie's office. Maybe they can expand upon it and make it happen.

He needs a new hit movie.

SoulAlive

Boomerang.

LA and Face were at the top of their game in 1992.Interestingly,they had nothing to do with two of the best songs on the album ("I'd Die Without You" and "Feels Like Heaven").
