Great album!, dark lyrics and great atmosphere.

I didn't get to see Manson live in the "Antichrist" era , but I did see him later when "Lest We Forget" came out. Now he's back with a new video, "Born Villain". This vid is NSFW with nudity and violence.

Marilyn last few years has been out of it! his last album was confused

And his videos seems like he's just trying to shock and not send a message like his old videos.

Marilyn & Twiggy complete each other IMHO. Without Twiggy, I think Marilyn personally was lost musically.

Twiggy came back after he left NIN (he played bass on the tour for "With Teeth"), but John 5 and Ginger Fish left Manson and are with Rob Zombie now.

1000% disagree. Twiggy is great, but eat me drink me is one of the best albums ever made by any artist.

I saw him live in early '97 in a club of about 800 capacity and it was definitely one of the best shows I've seen. Band were awesome and his live voice was so powerful.

Hell I was blown away seeing him and the band at the MTV Video Music Awards in '97. I was all like " eek tv " the whole time. lol

At least nothing he's done seems shocking anymore. It's kind of like Madonna. Once a white woman bangs black Jesus dances in front of burning crosses, and the sky doesn't fall, everybody can get away a lot more and nobody even blinks. The same is mostly true for Manson, to the point that his new video just seems like a bunch of animated gifs from old E/N sites.

That's what sucks when someone known for pushing the envelope has done all they could. I'm guessing the best Manson can do is continue doing it because there's no other way for him. shrug It's become the norm now so Manson probably was stuck anyways. Still dug him though.

I thought he was going to figure out a way to be able to manouvre into a more populist position but he seemed a little repetitive. shrug I have to admit I wasn't really paying attention at that point.

Marilyn's style was not populist anyways.
