At one time, I thought Madonna was just another flash in the pan chick, but look at her status now. I could only say that time will tell with GaGa.

yeah, until she released Live To Tell, La Isla Bonita, Like a Prayer, Oh Father, Vogue, Rain, etc.

Madonna would be the first to tell you she doesn't have the greatest pipes in the world, but she knew how to sell it. She kept re-inventing, and that was the key to her success. Gaga is the new chick on the block. It is too premature to tell what route she would take in the future.

I see what you are saying, but surely you must realize Gaga is much bigger now than Marilyn Manson ever was. Only time will tell as to how long Gaga will stay on top.

Madonna has a truckload of classic singles for the ages. Period. Madonna, Prince, MJ, remember? they own the 80s...and her 90s stuff is often underrated but equally impressive
