Now that I know this is legit.... I'll definitely buy it. Perfect timing since I'm a "new" fan without any of the original albums. I would love if they did this for Prince. It gets hard tryna find every damn album.

It's a shame that Prince won't do something like this He's getting left behind.Every other major artist and band has upgraded their catalog by now.If he waits too much longer,we will all be too old to enjoy any remasters or box sets he releases (LOL).

I would tell you to speak for yourself...but I am in that age group, too. I think we don't get that because, for Prince, time is still "a trick."

My heart goes out to yall but I'm only 23..... so if Prince doesn't, I'm sure Warner Bros. or whoever gets the rights to Prince's music when he croaks will hopefully milk his catalog like they do MJ.

no Best buy here in Austria, I got them all in a record store close to my place (and way cheaper than on Amazon), just like I used to buy 99.8% of my record collection in shops for the last 35 years. I'm just hopelessly old school I probably will have to order the Slave set online though, cause it just won't show up in the stores

On the US amazon site the box is listed for $59.99 as an import, an amazing price. By the picture it seems like the full box set, although in the product details it lists it as only 1 cd - that must be an error.

I'm not into Heatwave enough to buy their albums. A hits compilation is good enough for me. The Genesis box sets from about 3 years ago does have better sound. But they were also remixed in addition to the remastering. So was The Beatles 1999 version of Yellow Submarine. I was hoping the 2009 remasters were mixed in the same way, but they weren't. They do sound better than the 1987 CDs though.

WOW, you should really check out Heatwave's catalog. Especially their first 3 albums. Rod Temperton is a genius. So was Johnny Wilder.

Why is the GH vol. 2 NOT included?
