Bounce 2 This
Might this be one of the last great George Clinton jams?

Honestly the only jam I REALLY dug offa that humungoid album.....a few others....but less so.
I'm hoping that your contention about it bein the last jam isn't true (the cynic in me says you're prolly right, tho) Funk Is It's Own Reward

I guess it occurred to me based on the gap since his last original material album (about a decade) and this one. "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

"You couldn't resist.... and now you're pissed...... thinkin it was over."
Yeah, I didn't like this album very much either.... except for this song, maybe "Su Su Su" and of course, "Paradigm."
I didn't like "Gangsters Of Love" at all. It's quite unfortunate that his voice is all shot nowadays. He had one of the coolest voices ever.

"Mathmatics of Love" I agree on that one.
I had a chance to listen to this when it first came out and I thought some of it was cool.

Hey J,
MOL was the shit. Well, Kim Burrell is the shit! She's got some supernatural vocals stuff happening. Foley sent me a mix of that track where he's doubling Kim's every vocal lick an nuance on lead bass. He told me hadn't been inspired to pick up that instrument again since Miles passed. I'm still stunned that he's playing drums with Clinton instead of bass. Another supernatural musician.

Yes its definately a fun album...I also like the last part about 'Get the fuck out...we got to go to the other side of the door' or something, that's funny..

Got kinda sick of these songs live, as they've been dominating the PFunk setlists for years now. But "Bounce to This" is pretty dope. Occupy Alphabet Street!
