I'm speaking of the much-less lauded later version that has Prince screaming over the last 90 seconds like he's been holding it in well past the sell-by date. This cries out for volume like some TV-evangelists cry out for funds.

So much of the unreleased material suffers from such poor sound that I admit to not giving it a fair ear -- with a few exceptions, like the magnificent extension of “Computer Blue”.

On the other hand, this track sounds so incredible it must have been released, but my non-collecting ass surely doesn't remember any such configuration.
