I'm surprised to see he's coming back, I thought we'd never hear from him again.

He actually did some pretty good songs though so I'm hopeful - hell, maybe he'll bring back real r&b.

He's never really gone anywhere. His last album was released in 09 and his last single was released this past May. He doesn't get as much airplay as he used to, though.

Thanks for posting this. I am a fan of Joe and have a few of his albums, my faves being "All That I Am","My Name Is Joe" and "Better Days"

The last album in '09 "Signature" was a return to form for Joe, and perhaps didn't get the recognition it deserved.

I will definitely check out this new album.

Little? Yeah, right. It might be little but it's loud

Is he inside a white honeycomb or what? Don't like the cover shot but I do like the font of the title. I probably would've been a lot more creative with the cover with a title like that but that's just me.

Hope its a winner for him though. He's been 2nd fiddle for a minute in the R&B world. Hopefully he has some heat waiting for his audience.

I agree. All of his projects sound alike. He takes NO risks at all.

I don't know if that's him or Kedar making those types of calls.

Oh, Joe...

Never been a big fan. I liked him in the beginning, love "All the Things (Your Man Won't Do)," and then a few assorted singles here and there, but I always think of him as a Poor Man's R. Kelly. shrug

Starting with his debut single, these are the only Joe songs I'll ever need:

Joe - "I'm in Luv" [1993]

"All or Nothing" (Poor Georgie Porgie Mix) [1993]

"All the Things (Your Man Won't Do)" [1996]

"Don't Wanna Be a Player" [1997]

"Treat Her Like a Lady" [2000]

Joe's best R. impersonation lol

"Stutter" [2000]

Joe's the type of person who has a good voice but too many weak songs. The songs Alexde mentioned are the only ones I like from him as well, especially "All the Things Your Man Won't Do".

nod nod nod Love that one!

You may be forgetting "I Wanna Know," though. That one was pretty popular. I have a borderline irrational hatred of it I can't really explain. lol

lol I think I do...great song but when a song is played at ad nauseam so to speak...love quickly turns to hate.

But I will always love "All the things your man wont do" definately.

And "Better Days" was his best attempt at being Marvin Gaye 2000. evillol He almost outright stole the vocal arrangements from "Sexual Healing"! The bastard. rolleyes falloff

Meh. I guess. That sort of 'Grown N Sexy' shtick that he does is a bit stale at this point.

His range is pretty impressive, always liked that about him like in "all the things your man won't do". I heard him acoustic for a bit he plays a decent guitar.
