Yeah, my favorite Smiths song is either "Bigmouth Strikes Again" or "Shoplifters of the World," although "This Charming Man" and "Panic" are up there, too.Well, this album is certainly great. Although Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others is a somewhat disappointing finale...
Being such a great album, it isn't my favourite of The Smiths. I prefer the first one and also Vauxhall And I, this one a Morrissey solo album. | |

I love their debut and Vauxhall and I as well. The Queen Is Dead seems to get the lions share of the praise but I think Strangeways is every bit as good. An awesome band, brilliant songwriting by Morrissey and Marr. | |

A classic album, probably their best. I love Hatful of Hallow more, but technically that's really a compilation of thier radio sessions. I used to play the LP for hours and stare at the LP. Any Rourke in his tight jeans was a bit of a distraction for me [Edited 8/15/11 12:27pm] | |

It was a fair exchange; he gave me The Smiths while I introduced him to Terence Trent D'Arby. We both parted ways with mutual musical respect
