Rumors that William Orbit is new MADONNA collaborator for her new project

i don't know if it's true but who knows. personally i think it would be a KILLER, dignified move to give Madonna fans the actual follow up to the Ray of Light album (Music and American life were both retreads with Mirwais) ... I think that is literally the only viable pop star move at this point. She's OVER 50. closer to 60 than 40. the last time she was at her HOTTEST was the Ray of Light era. Bitch'd be crazy to not try and revisit that one more time and give us a trip hop, electro-drum-n-bass, moody, vibey, trancey 'deep' album.

I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I think it would be silly to count out Confessions and Music as strong albums, I loved American Life too. Her working with Orbit again would be amazing, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. For me the most ideal situation would be if she teamed up with her classic co writers like Patrick Leonard or Stephan Bray.

here's a rundown on some of the recent rumors.....

Martin Solveig is one of the producers on the album
Credibility 100% – Madonnarama.com was the first to exclusively reveal that Madonna has enlisted the help of French DJ and producer Martin Solveig to help her on her new tracks. Martin is not set to produce the entire album, but only set to produce a handful of tracks! Our info has been reposted by a lot of magazines and websites (MSN Canada; Yahoo Music; MuuMuse; BoyCulture; Pink is the New Blog; 20Minutes; Virgin Radio; Goom Radio; RFM; Charts in France; Pure People; and more…) who nicely credited us.

Madonna working with 3 different producers
Credibility 95% – Madonnarama.com was also the first to tell you about Madonna working with 3 different producers on her forthcoming record.

A 2011 Release Date
Credibility : 80% - Madonna is planning a 2011 release for her yet untitled new album. This information is to be confirmed but word is that the album is due to be released during the last quarter of the year (most likely November). It seems Madonna’s calendar includes a lot of promotion in late 2011 for the album, and in early 2012 for the movie (W.E.).

Collaborations with Sandy Vee, Diagram of the Heart, Monsieur Adi
Credibility : 5% - Those are rumours spread by fans, fansites or the artists themselves to create some buzz. We don’t believe it for a second.

Madonna specifically refusing to work with Red One
Madonna teaming up with Lourdes
Madonna teaming up with Britney Spears to record “Entertainment”
Credibiliy : 0% – Don’t believe everything you read…

hmmm I'm not sure if this is a good move.I'll have to hear the tracks first lol William Orbit is one of her greatest producers, but 'Ray Of Light' was a long time ago.Can he still come up with the goods?

If Orbit's on it, I'm definitely buying it. Hell I was thinking of getting it with Martin anyway.

I'd dig a Madge-Orbit reunion, but I don't see the album dropping in 2011. Pre-release promotion for her flick starts in September at the Toronto International Film Fest, followed almost certainly with her increased visibility following its commercial release. I can't see her having much time to dedicate to the music until Early 2012.

Anyone know how far along in recording the album she's supposed to be?

Just an assumption, but it's pretty safe. Unless something big prevents a director or producer's attendance (and Madonna is both for this project), it's unusual that they don't show up for Cannes or Toronto, as these are the final two giant film festivals just before Oscar voting season. Plus, this'll be not only the North American premier of W.E., but a Gala Presentation; prestigious stuff.

Lol interesting but I kinda thought this was gonna happen. Either Gaga or someone from this generation. There was some debate that Madonna and Rihanna were good for a duet.

I heard Pharrell saying he was working on something too right?

Pharrell Confirms Madonna Work, Cee Lo To Collaborate With Gwyneth Paltrow
by Edwin Ortiz
posted December 31, 2010 at 11:35PM UTC+0100 |

Two veteran artists from the urban world are toeing across the line to aide pop stars experienced and new.
After collaborating with Madonna on her highly successful 2008 crossover album Hard Candy, Neptunes producer Pharrell Williams will once again be working with the pop icon in the new year.
According to News.com.au, Skateboard P says he’s “got some stuff going on with Madonna,” though work on a new Despicable Me film as well as a new Neptunes project are taking up studio time as well. Referring to unique artists like Madonna, Williams explained, “Every session I have I try to take something from and learn different things - how to make great music, how to make that music greater.”
In other news, Cee Lo Green plans to give Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow a few tips in the studio after hearing her do a respectable cover of “Fuck You” on Glee.
I am actually supposed to go into the studio with her in the next few days,” he told Popeater.com. “We are doing another personalized version of ‘Forget You’ and we may do something spontaneous.”
Similarly, he told Eonline.com, “We'll see what pans out. It's a little too early to commit to a statement and I won't ruin the surprise because whatever we're going to do is going to be extra cool.”

Their songs were the best on the album.

Just random thought..."You're The One For Me: and "The Beat Goes On" might mix very well together party

I remember whisperings that Madge saved a song they did from Hard Candy sessions together that was really good.

Madonna hired her as model for her drink company, maybe they can to a duet about Vita Coco

Even though it's lip synched I just love this performance:

I don't think she should with Gaga, too predictable.

And the second Madonna becomes predictable is the second her career is over.

Entertainer

It's cutting it close for a 2011 release although it would make sense to try to capitalize on holiday sales. If this rihanna duet rumour is true, not surprise as it's clear she will want to hook up with someone young and hot to get on the radio again.

I'm interested to see how W.E movie will do and what her sales for a new studio album in the US will be. I know she'll slay ww but America is iffy especially her being older now.

I think a November release date would be perfect. This way,she can begin the new year by focusing on tour preparations and rehearsals. The next tour will most likely kick off in summer 2012.This is the same strategy she used in 2005....she released 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' in November, started tour rehearsals in March 2006,then kicked off the tour that summer. It worked really well.

I hope it's not true. They'd already run out of steam as collaborators by "Music."

But maybe 10 years apart has renewed the spark between them.

What does Madonna love more than anything else? She loves herself, for sure, but I think “money” and “gristly-body obsession-fanaticism” is right up there with self-love. So it was love at first sight when Madge met Tracy Anderson, the fraud “trainer” who made Madonna into the piece of gristle she is today. A few years ago, Madonna and Tracy split up, and I always assumed the whole thing was over money. Tracy wanted to open gyms and trade on her association with Madonna, and Madge balked. Now Tracy is in business with Gwyneth Paltrow, who coincidentally is no longer BFFs with Madge. Anyway, this Star Mag story is kind of a blast from the past, but I want to buy it just because this completely comports with the image I have of Madonna: a 50-something woman terrified of aging, who will pay any amount of money to look younger, who will fly into a rage at the mere mention of cellulite.

Madonna is turning 53 in August, and she’s so obsessed with maintaining a youthful appearance, she’s purchased a Cellupulse anti-cellulite acoustic wave therapy machine for $75,000, according to a member of the superstar’s inner circle. Madge uses the machine twice a week and faithfully record her thigh measurements to make sure she’s on target and “flips out if it increases by as little as one quarter of an inch.”

Madge is so fixated on her cellulite that it has destroyed her relationship with her longtime exercise guru, Tracy Anderson.

“Tracy grew to dread the early-morning phone calls from Madonna ranting about what a useless trainer she was,” according to one of Tracy’s pals. “Madonna would threaten to fire her, and Tracy had to talk her down each time.”

Tracy’s not the only casualty of Madonna’s body image obsession. “The measuring and ranting used to drive her ex-husband crazy,” reports the insider. “Guy Ritchie would mock her and joke that he noticed a few new dimples, which he thought was tremendously funny, but she obviously didn’t.”

The insider continues: “Madonna wants the body of an 18-year-old dancer and believes she can maintain her youth if she works hard enough in her gym, which is covered from floor to ceiling with mirrors. She scrutinizes her body in every position, looking for fat like an FBI detective.”

Madonna has also vowed to eliminate anyone who doesn’t respect her exercise regimen from her home and her life.

“Those wishing to stay in her good graces have learned to stay mum on the subject, especially her young male companions.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

Don’t you want to think of Madonna like this? Obsessively measuring her cellulite in her completely mirrored room, agonizing over the measurements for hours and then finally rage-calling Tracy to vent? That is totally how I picture her.

Re: the “young male companions” - does anyone else get the feeling that Madge isn’t even having sex with these young guys? I got that feeling when she was with Jesus Luz, and now that she’s doing the on-again-whatever with Brahim, I just think Madge is like Hugh Hefner at this point. She keeps all of the young, fresh meat around her to make herself feel better, like she’s young again, and so she can have something pretty to look at.

I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Star mag is right down there with the National Enquirer as the most over the top unbelievable tabloid. I'm sure Madonna is very fitness focused, but I'd like to think this article is quite an exaggeration.
