What Song Is This...
is this the part you break my heart to wipe your feet on...
is this the parr-arr-arrt
(heavy bass guitar, repeat lyric above)
Was scanning stations and heard this but when I went back to the same station the song was over. I think I've heard this jam before but can't recollect the song title or the group. R&B-ish, sexy and slow but still danceable.
FFFUUUCCCKKKK!!!!!! I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
RIP Dick Clark, Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Heavy D, and Donna Summer.

SA noted it's from 1986. Here's some of the band's other hits and most recognizable songs:
Hangin' on a String (Contemplating) [1985] *This was their first R&B #1 (a feat "Slow Down" matched)
Stay a Little While, Child [1986]
Watching You [1988] *R&B #2

Other than a remix collection, there's really just The Best of Loose Ends. It's an import CD, but Amazon has it for a little over $8. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis
