After an 11 year break following 1989's "Rhythm & Romance", during which time Mic Murphy released a great solo album called "Touch", Mic and David Frank regrouped in 2000 to release a new album as The System. Called "E.S.P" it was a departure from their electrofunk 80's sound, embracing comtemporary R&B and pop whilst still maintaining the magic that made them unique.

This was the first song on the album, and whilst it sounds nothing like their 80's material, I still love it. Mic has a great vocal tone and what can you say about David Frank other than that he is one helluva great musician and producer.

I detect a Bone Thugs N Harmony influence on this jam (peep the backing vocals on the chorus, that's pure BTNH) and I love it.
