I dig 'em. I do not listen to them too often these days but circa 1992-1996 I was a pretty big fan. Whenever I am feeling too happy I just give Dirt a listen and I am immediately brought back to cruel reality.
"Down in a Hole" is probably my favourite song.
As far as Layne's voice goes I'm not sure that I would want to hear him sing covers but for Alice in Chains he had the perfect voice. | |

I Adore this band, they are one of THE bands and sounds of the 90's. Dark, Murky and just fantastic i love all of there albums. Jerry & Layne's vocals work well with the band. Also some love for Mike Star, Sean Kinney & Mike Inez.
Facelift is my favorite from the boys Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
