Isn't It A Pity - Concert for George

Not only is it a great version of the song...



...but Billy Preston brings it (vocally & on B-3)


Dhani looks like George literally spit him out.

The background singer on the left with the burgandy top is Katie Kissoon, who used to sing in a pop group with her brother Mac in the 1970's.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Real fond memories of this concert. Check out the version of "Something" by Paul McCartney, really moving.
