I love Narada Michael Walden's production of this song. The song starts off subtly, then builds and builds and builds. When Stacy gets to the final chorus, the whole thing sounds loud and heavily orchestrated. It's a very effective arrangement, and Stacy is an incredible vocalist.

Another wonderful Stacy Lattisaw song is "I Could Love You So Divine" from her 1982 'Sneakin Out' album. It was never released as a single but it is probably my favorite song by her.

"Let me be your angel..let me be the one for yooouuu
Let me be your angel...let me be the one you believe in"

Man, this one takes me back to 1980 big time. This song used to dominate R&B airwaves back in the day. Had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Lattisaw back during this period. Sweet young lady.

She opened for The Jacksons on some dates on their Triumph Tour in 1981 {in which Michael and his brothers performed a special benefits show here in Atlanta for the Missing And Murdered Black Children Case here in Atlanta that was taking the nation by storm}.

People were so anxious to see Michael and his brothers that they grew impatient of Stacy's opening performance and they booed her at one segment of her performance. It was said that backstage she was so distraught and upset. She really admired Michael Jackson and wanted to have a great opening performance on The Jacksons' tour.

Yeah... people were ready to see Michael. Sort of the same impatient behaviour that LIL MAN encountered when him and his band opened up for the Stones and got booed in 81'.

Remember Stacy's 1982 song "Attack Of The Name Game"? Mariah Carey sampled this song for her 1999 song "Heartbreaker".It was a cool song...

"he winked all three of his eyes at me and he said "Did you catch my name?" smile

Let's see if I can do the "name game" with my name...

"Dack attack,I got a ack attack,I gotta vack vick vicky via vack (that's a fact)...add an "I",you go by and by,and now there's a "D",press save then save it...my name is David!"

smile smile smile smile
