She really does intrigue me, I have to admit. I also loved that when she was talking about doing drugs, she says she doesn't do hard drugs anymore, but that she's a member of the "Green Club" Whoopi just smiled and nodded! I'd love to have a spliff with those two!

If I had a blunt with those two I would go through a series of extreme emotions...

She seems to enjoy making the rounds and doing interviews, and sounds very appreciative for her success. She doesn't take her fanbase for granted, and I think the approachability will help keep the potential stalker element under control. She's still going to get harassed by the Christian groups.

The drugs prob. were around during high school, but from what she said, part of it had to do with her dropping out of college and getting numbed out for a while. Even though her success seems pretty sudden, it took her about 4 years, playing in bands & waitressing, hanging out at record companies trying to get noticed. She read everything (whether it was sheet music or their life stories) there was to read on Bowie, Madonna, Elton, Queen, Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, and celebs past and present, absorbed all of that stuff. Student on pop culture, which has served her well.

So shitty she has to do a show like The View when they will be on her ass about "inappropriate performance on American Idol".

If you payed any attention you would know they called her performance beautiful but questionable for a family oriented show. Besides Gaga isn't one to hold a grudge.

Don't roll your fucking eyes at me. I watched it and they were being critical of her. Then she appears here and they're brown-nosing.
