The S.O.S. Band---first two albums have been remastered

Y'all remember the S.O.S. Band, right? Known for such 80s hits like "Take Your Time(Do It Right)","Just Be Good To Me","Tell Me If You Still Care" and many more.Well, their first two albums have been remastered (actually, this is the first time these albums have appeared on CD,at least in the States)...

***SOS BAND 'SOS' (debut album,1980)---

"SOS" (Dit Dit Dit Dash Dash Dash Dit Dit Dit)"
"What's Wrong With Our Love Affair?"
"Open Letter"
"Love Won't Wait For Love"
"Take Your Time (Do It Right)"
"I'm In Love"
"Take Love Where You Find It"
"SOS (reprise)"

***SOS BAND 'TOO' (1981)---

"It's A Long Way To The Top"
"Do It Now"
"There Is No Limit"
"You"
"Stay"
"Are You Ready?"
"Do You Know Where Your Children Are?"
"For The Brothers That Ain't Here"
"Unborn Child"

I remember in 1981 when their second album came out.The first single "Do It Now" sounded just like "Take Your Time"! It was a cool song though.

In 1982,they released their third album containing the Jam and Lewis-produced hit "High Hopes" (my favorite J&L production of all-time).

That´s some great news!!!
the "SOS band too" from 1981 is a masterpiece.
just listen 2 the first 2 songs "It´s a long way to the top"
& "Do it now".the way they move into each other.
The whole album is great though.A classic!!

I've never heard the second album, but I'm gonna go pick it up this weekend.Looking at the titles of the last three songs,it seems that they were getting a little political,no?

I believe Jam & Lewis wrote High Hopes but did not produce it. Didn't Leon Sylvers produce that cut?

Jam&Lewis hook up Leon Sylvers on Some Projects around that Time.Leon is Very Underrated IMHO.that Cat was a Monster on Albums by Dynasty,Shalamar,Whispers among others.

By the way - the name of the band, S.O.S., stands 4 Sounds Of Success, as explained in the song, S.O.S. (dit dit dit, dash dash dash dit dit dit)

Damn, they were good.
