I'm still amazed a 14, 15-year-old kid had the kind of voice Brandy had, not only the strong singing in lead but the over-layered background harmonies on top of it!

Yep I've always appreciated that she came into the game with her own vocal style, (even @ 14, 15 years old like you said). Her harmonies were always on point too. I miss her funky, R&B/Pop music style though.

But she said her new album will be "futuristic r&b" so that sounds like Full Moon Part 2..so I'm excited!

I LOVE her first 4 albums, especially the first one and Full Moon...the first album sounds like the Janet album for a younger audience, Broken Hearted reminds me of Anytime Anyplace

Love the adlibs on this as well. Full Moon was a good album. A bit overlong, but good.

Brandy is the best. I wish she got the respect she deserved. People forget she was the Beyonce of the 90's

I miss who I was when Brandy was This Brandy. Love "Full Moon." She really was super composed as a young singer, had great range. My favorite Brandy is "Best Friend." ...kind of a perfect song for me. And she has a good forehand.

Love Brandy! Human was her weakest effort to date, but it's not a bad album. My favorite Brandy song is probably "Almost Doesn't Count," but "Who Is She 2 U" is definitely up there.

I take that back. I forgot about seeing her in that slasher movie when the psycho killer was chasing her. I was loving that and was rooting for the pyscho.

I've always been a fan of her music. Brandy is highly underrated to me!

Brandy also did the backup vocals to Unbreakable

I remember her being everywhere in the 90's too, and one of my favourite artists of the decade though during Never Say Never, she was so overplayed on the radio. I remember playing that album often with friends though, and her debut being the album we all had to have, even 2 years after it came out. It's sad she didn't sell that great after Full Moon, which I believe is her best and most mature work to date, with Afrodisiac being a continuation of that.
