You're thinking Frankie Vallie. It's called "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. I like the chorus:

I love you, baby,
And if it's quite alright,
I need you, baby,
To warm a lonely night.
I love you, baby.
Trust in me when I say:
Oh, pretty baby,
Don't bring me down, I pray.
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby.
Let me love you

Anybody remember his "Swear to God?" Vallie went sorta disco on that one. Whodathunkit? Anyway, that track was hot! smile

I still think the Bee Gees should've done Grease themselves.

it would have Worked but come on doing another Main theme song for a John Travolta Film might have been a bit much for them? I think they wanted to let someone else ride on the Success of it.it gets to be to Formula you know? but there Song"The Woman In you" For Travolta's "Stayin' ALive" does make you wish that they might have considered doing "Grease"??

Yeah, I guess. It seems they left themselves short in the early eighties after giving so many good songs to other artists. There's some nice ballads on their Living Eyes album though which was released in '81.

yep but for "Stayin Alive" Frank Stallone of all People outdid them with His song "Far From Over"&what are the chances of Frank Stallone outdoing the Bee Gees on a SOundtrack let alone on a Song??? they kinda for a minute went thin in the Songwriting department after the Early 80's.

True, but they picked up again with You Win Again in '87 and hardly put a foot wrong since.

The Pet Shop Boys used a portion of this song when they covered U2s Where The Streets Have No Name. An amazing cover version despite what purists say. Absolute genius.
