I swear... that family... disbelief

The Jackson family (Katherine leading) just announced a tribute concert for Oct 8th in UK....

Tickets will be on sale in 11 days BUT

2 steps to follow to 'get' a ticket..

You have to register first and write the donation you're willing to give to the 2 charities involved with the show..

The higher your donation is, the better is your chance to be chosen to buy your ticket...

When you buy your ticket, the amount of your donation is taken at the same time of your ticket payment...

THAT MEANS 0% of your ticket price will go to charities, all will go to Jackson's family...

what a way to make money.. or 'help' charities...

Can't believe them...

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

Yeah, and since the Estate was not aware of that tribute show since AGAIN the Jacksons never asked the Estate permission to use MJ's name/work...

Let's watch it fail like the perfume, like the fake HTW foundation etc...

Yeah, except that it's not virtual, they are REALLY acting like this in everyday's real life.. that's what makes it so sad.

It being a show on TV I'd enjoy it with popcorn and congrats the scriptor, it's actually far better than the bold and the beautiful!

STATEMENT FROM JERMAINE & RANDY JACKSON
RE THE MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE CONCERT

July 25, 2011

Today's press conference in Los Angeles announced a tribute concert to Michael to be attended and supported by the Jackson Family. However, we want to make clear that this does not reflect the position of the entire family.

While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death. As everyone knows, those proceedings commence September 20th, and this "Michael Forever" concert takes place in Cardiff, Wales, UK,on October 8th. In light of this, we feel it is inappropriate to be involved with such an ill-timed event and its promoter, Global Live.

Furthermore, the decision to proceed with this concert disrespects opinions and wishes expressed in the strongest terms to Global Live during conversations in April when this event was presented to the majority of the family as an idea already in its advanced stages.

There will come a time and place for an amazing and deserving tribute to Michael. But we feel that the most important tribute we can give to our brother at this time is to seek justice in his name.

With the Jackson family there is ALWAYS more than what they actually tell us...

I guess Jerm and Randy don't agree with what's going on now because they didn't get what they were supposes to get someway.. or because they've been left out of the project and are finding a noble way to show it to the fans, saying it's out of respect for MJ...

But seeing Tito, Jakie and Marlon in this still amazes and saddens me. I have to admit.

Nothing about Katherine surprises me anymore though...

Don't know if you posted it yet or not Carine but I just read what you posted here:

carinemjj said:

This is getting more and more weird...

The company Global Live (who organises the show) started a trust fund for MJ's kids and handed a 100 000$ check to an emotional Katherine...

Since when does MJ's kids need a trust fund? They have the Estate taking care of their future already.. and why KJ so emotional about it like they were in the middle of a famine?

I mean.. why give the kids 100 000$... if this is a charity show.. give it to the charities! OR.. maybe the 100 000$ given to 'the kids' will in fact serve to pay the Estate (i.e. future of the kids) to have permission to do the show...

oh lawd... using the kids again to make it look so cute and valuable... I feel sick...

[Edited 7/25/11 10:48am]

And you know what? Katherine no longer gets my support (and I mean it this time). She's as conniving as her husband and some of their kids. disbelief
