One of Bob's finest, and one of my all-time favourite songs. It's one of those songs that sounds quite different to almost everything else and weirdly off-kilter, but still sounds 'right'. Sounds like it's pure feeling with everything else stripped away. I also like that the lyric is so weary and world-beaten, but it's still somehow hopeful and redemptive.
