Absolutely the gayest. Shame I never saw it before; Wikipedia claims mTV banned the video so I was never even given the chance.

..actually I thought this thread was going to point out Billy Squier's video for "Rock Me Tonight"... That's the video that pretty much ruined his career.

Was that the video where he was dancing like he had a hump in his back? lol

If you mean the DOA video, yeah I don't recall seeing this on MTV's playlist when I was four, five years old. neutral Sad because it wasn't like the guys in the back weren't showing their dicks. Yeah Pete Burns moved like a clothed Chippendales dancer but come on. lol

I looked at this one a while back. Just looked at it again, Andrej Pejic (the model) reminds me of Marilyn (aka Peter Robinson) for some reason. lol razz

He was in this one too:

I'm not talking about broadcasting. I'm talking about getting it filmed and edited in the first place. lol

People film those videos all the time though. It wasn't that big of a risk. lol I think FGTH knew the video wouldn't be well received anyway. I know they banned the song in the UK because they were offended that masturbation was even used. Ironically in the U.S., the song's subject matter went over the heads of U.S. listeners. evillol

Well, I certainly sang along unknowingly, but I was 7 when it was popular here.

lol Yeah I didn't know it either. When I heard it, I don't know if it was a movie or something, at around four, I said "I like this". Wasn't until I was 11 or so that I realized what they were talking about. That's when I went "ohhhhhhhhhh..." lol

This is why Wayne Cooper was such a huge loss for CAMEO. Back in the day (when he was still alive) we used to call him "Miss Cameosis". He had so much spirit!

Don't forget "Gett Off", particularly his MTV award show performance of it ("...now move your big ass 'round this way so I can work on that zipper baby!"), lol. Though of course it's not as much fun since we can't post the video. neutral But then again, it was already the 90's by that time.

Pee Wee Herman opening the show was a memorable moment as well, since it was his first appearance since his little "incident", lol. I thought he was so brave by even showing up... "Heard any good jokes lately?" and "Ha-ha, so funny I forgot to laugh!". I love when he just closed his eyes, opened his arms, and just received all the love he was getting from the audience. Took him a long time to completely come back, but now he's got a big hit on Broadway!

This YouTube clip is a shitty copy, but I'm glad I recorded the whole show on VHS tape when it aired.

doh! I remember that one too. lol

I also remembered how strange he looked in his mugshot because I remembered the Pee Wee character. Then he gets arrested and he has long hair and a beard, I was like "WHAT!?" lol But he made a good comeback that night. biggrin
