The Beatles vs. The Carpenters-Ticket To Ride

Which version do you like better? I honestly can't choose. I love The Beatles version, it's funky and upbeat. The Carpenters version is much more mellow but I like their cover and Karen's voice is magical as always.

Before people make a big stink, I actually agree that the Carpenters version is better. I prefer the slowed down parts. Never was big on that version by the Beatles, albeit the Beatles being mostly great.

The Beatles versions sounds like something heavy falling down stairs. That's a good thing. Beatles win.

Couldn't even make it thru the carpenters version, feel like they were trying to destroy the song

The Beatles version of course, but I am a big fan of the Carpenters.

I like the Carpenters okay, and theirs was the first version of the song that I was familiar with. But I like the Beatles version a lot better.

I prefer the Carpenters' version of Superstar to Luther's though. I guess I go for the less mellow versions, generally.

The Beatles win out on that one. But check this one out.
