The Beatles vs. The Carpenters-Ticket To Ride Which version do you like better? I honestly can't choose. I love The Beatles version, it's funky and upbeat. The Carpenters version is much more mellow but I like their cover and Karen's voice is magical as always.

Before people make a big stink, I actually agree that the Carpenters version is better. I prefer the slowed down parts. Never was big on that version by the Beatles, albeit the Beatles being mostly great. All you others say Hell Yea!!  | |

I like the Carpenters okay, and theirs was the first version of the song that I was familiar with. But I like the Beatles version a lot better.
I prefer the Carpenters' version of Superstar to Luther's though. I guess I go for the less mellow versions, generally. My Legacy
