Predict Lady Gaga's Born This Way album sales

The reason why I asked is because this woman is receivng so much promotion, press and marketing just to promote this Born This Way album.

She has taken over the Fuse Channel and has teamed with Strabucks to help her promote her album.

From how much marketing is woman is receiving it makes me think that Lada Gaga wants to surpass Michael Jackson's album sales.

What do you think do you think her album will sell well.

I feel it too timmy if not that I'm thinking big numbers at least.

Right. All that promo lol she'd likely debut with big numbers anyway. Her label shipped two million copies for the album.

Oh well, then I don't think that this one will do as much as her last album did. I already think that she hit her peak already even if she has a huge debut.

She’s coming off a high from her previous album I would be really surprise if this album don’t go number one. Honestly I feel we in her peak right now most likely after this it will die down I’m not speaking it will do well because of the songs I’m saying she’s at a very high popularity so this album no doubt is going to put up big numbers.

I am just wondering how long will the Gaga fever last because we are in her peak right now she is non stop. I don't want to see anyone fail in life and I really don't want anything bad to happen to her but from the way she is doing all the flashy shock value stuff it may get old.

Mainstream music changes so much espeically now then ever and it takes great appeal, charisma and effort to try to stay on top.

Not even a couple of years ago Beyonce was dominating the music scene and getting the same push as Lady Gaga and now people are saying they getting tired of her.

The buzz here in Asia is insane. All my students are jabbing on about it.

This doesn't happen often for western acts--they mostly did Korean ones.

The reviews I've read so far have been mostly good, some really good.

I guarantee it will be as long as Marilyn Mansons, but not as long as Madonna's. I'm no Madonna fan by the way - but I can see Gaga riding the wave of her success for a good few years yet, she's managed to tap into the collective Zeitgeist just like Manson did - the parallels are pretty obvious in that respect.

I like the album, although it's definately not 'The Fame' by any stretch - 'Born This Way's mid-album lull is almost tragic in its awfulness. Very lazy. Of the tracks I've listened to repeatedly this week, only five of the collection are truly good songs. As a piece of work, it's in dire need of some editing, but take out that mid album lull from 'Bad Kids' thru 'Heavy Metal Lover' (and throw in the dreadful track on the Special Edition 'The Queen') and it saves it.

All this aside, I have a lot of time and respect for Gaga, and I think her third album will overshadow this. Let's face it, she's not the first artist to ever stumble with a second album, and she won't be the last.
