Jesse Depature album is on point I'm not ashamed of any I stop years ago and just listen to what I like and not worry

I'm not ashamed of nothing. I don't believe in "guilty pleasures" or "cheesy". I either like a song or I don't.

Ain't ashamed that I still love that song where the group was singing about "me and you baby ain't nothing but mammals so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel."

I wish I were that bold and ballsy to back up all my musical choices, but there is stuff that I just am appalled that I like and wouldn't openly go around admitting I'm into .

I realized I was ashamed I liked that Jesse McCartney song, when I thought about posting it on my FB wall and then nixed the idea.

To get back on topic - I noticed a lot of ppl are saying there's nothing wrong with liking this or that song, but they aren't naming off anything specific that they like that they're aware isn't really a popular choice.

So I kinda think they just inadvertently, proved my point.

You haven't seen my threads have you (such as Debby Boone)? Also I'm using the name "Micky Dolenz", and The Monkees have never been seen as cool. If you're embarrassed by something you like, you're too concerned about what someone else thinks.
