As for the storms, the tornadoes of the last few months have come pretty close. I had thought about going to the cemetery last weekend on Mother's Day to visit my mother's grave but then I saw on the news that the cemetery was closed because the April 15th tornado, the same one that destroyed Malaco Records, had gone through the cemetery and had taken down tree after tree. Then the tornadoes that came through last week that destroyed Alabama came pretty close to. As for the floods, I'm not getting any of those. Those are from the Mississippi River which borders the western border of the state and I live in Central Mississippi about 50 miles away from there. Vicksburg is under water though.

You've never heard of Sweet Pussy Pauline? She's a drag queen. They used to play her all the time in the black gay club in my area back in the early 1990s. There's no music behind her voice. I don't know if she's a comedian or what she is but the DJs always find an instrumental of some song and mix her voice on top of it.

They were on the local news a few years ago. I don't know what they did but they attacked the hell out of that news crew when they came out there.....
