Were older people (as in, older than, say, 35?) as bitter about Prince when he was starting out as people are now about Gaga?
I really don't understand why people spend so much energy and time professing their dislike for Lady Gaga instead of just, you know, ignoring her. They're almost as annoying as her teenage fans who claim that she saved their lives
True.
I've never understood when people express absolute hatred for someone they don't even know and have never even met. It's disturbing and creepy as fuck.
"I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day
Umm The Edge of Glory video it looks like it was filmed in one day (which it was rumored to be) which is not a bad thing but ….. I wanted her to keep it simple for this song I wasn't expecting this though no wonder it had no hype but it’s a pretty forgettable video compared to the others. A guess not a fuck was given when she was making this move on to Government hooker girl.
Interesting. I heard she and Laurieann got into it with the supposed film director (Joseph Kahn) so he walked out of the project and they directed (Gaga and Laurieann) it themselves.
Yeah pretty much but they should have let him take over on this one. I think they should have used a real New York City street and just had her walking if they was going to go this way. You can tell no one is into it.
I was indifferent towards her before working with Gaga but she needs to get rid of Laurie G at this point I guess ( I see monsters and her are fighting on twitter http://twitter.com/BoomKack lmao wow ) and Gaga needs to work with the professional directors and let them help showcase her vision more instead of thinking she know everything. lol
Beyonce wouldn't know about musical composition less know how to play anything.
haha didn't prince say he was talking 2 beyonce bout playing the piano? guess its not working
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Well now we know where you can find the prince comparison.

Yeah. I happened to catch her interview on MTV and she talked about how New York City is kinda like her constant muse when she's writing songs. I could definitely hear that in this song. If I were directing, it woulda been all over NYC; her old neighborhood, the club scenes (big and small--like the clubs she used to perform in--then her dancers could've been featured), the big landmarks(Empire, Times Square, etc)...
I would've gotten some scenes with her riding down the streets on the bike that she's so fond of with the neon lights of the city shining down on her...crazy costume, ten inch heels and all.
Joseph and Laurie said Gaga directed the video, reason why Laurie went off on twitter because she said it was bad lol (or retweeted someone saying it) and well the fans responded and still think she directed it they also went at Joseph too. Lmao when in reality Gaga was the main one.

Damn that's a mess.
Allegedly
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @quiandezforgaga The entire art department also has the right to be upset considering the massive sets they built that didn't get used.
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @ImAnonymousC Ya know what? When you see the video, just realize it could've been a whole lot better with an actual story line. Now its Gaga
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @quiandezforgaga Yes, people need to leave him alone. If anyone has the right to be upset, it is him. The whole crew got robbed basically.
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @quiandezforgaga Very last minute. We shot a whole days worth of concept. The next day she sent all the dancers home and made it all solo.
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @quiandezforgaga Basically: Day 1 of 3 (Shot concept) Day 2 of 3 (Shot all Gaga) The end, concept scrapped, no 3rd day. Gaga edits video.
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @quiandezforgaga This video is all Gaga. I shouldn't even be talking. It just bugs me to see people say stuff and not know.
ChanclerVHaynes Chancler Haynes by PropaGaga@ @jock6797 A very cool concept driven cinema piece was turned into a complete solo performance at the last minute.

YESS I think that would have been good.
I agree....Why the hell is she just in one location?...This song screams for beautiful scenery..they could have really taken it there and created something visually stunning....I still love this song though.
Exactly. That was single handledly the WORST music video Gaga's ever done. Even BTW had some creativity with it, even if I didn't really dig it but I'd watch that again than watch the video for TEOG ever again. And Clarence was not edited right at all...unless that was a body double. It's hard to find someone that iconic with a stunt double.

Yeah that was a diva move on her part I know as an artist she has a right to make the video how she wants but she should really work with the professional directors and let them help her and she has in the past just this time with Born This Way she doing things her way. I think something happen with alejandro too.

Yeah the Alejandro video was supposed to have a different concept but she decided to make it just a collage of stuff.
Crazy as shit type of drama on her page because they think she directed it.

So unnecessary.
I liked the video. I don't really watch videos, but I liked it. I mean, I love the song, so...
I would've said the video was okay if there was like more scenes added. Yeah I like simple videos but this one was just so basic looking plus the fact that she had beef with the original director just dampens any good review I'd probably would've gave it... but then again even without it I wouldn't know what "good" to think about this video other than... "get well Clarence" and, "uh nice boots Gaga". And nice purple smoke in a fake New York street that looks like a background for Sesame Street but yeah.

Yeah, it's just a vide and I honestly don't care much for videos.
The only video of hers that I truly, truly enjoy watching is Paparazzi.

Right. Even "Bad Romance" was a little too much but I liked that one. Other than that, her videos have been basically . You can tell she shot this in 10 minutes though with TEOG.
