Last night, the Meatpackingdistrict was on the edge of glory as Lady GaGapartied at The Top of the Standard to celebrate her CFDA win! The private event had Belvedere concotions flowing and several celebrities schmoozing, but the HIGHlight of the evening was a special rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow by one Miz PattiLaBelle!
You know, she only sings that for one other person wifey - and that's Oprah!
We hear the evening was wildly exciting for everyone there, including AshleyGreene who reportedly grabbed the attention of Gerard Butler on the way in and kept his attention all evening.

Patti was a stone cold freak during the LaBelle era. I wouldn't be surprised if they inspired some of Parliament-Funkadelic's outfits.

Considering they were dressing like that from 1973 to around 1976, I'd say they definitely influenced P-Funk.

In other words about this track...I really do not like the lyrics but it is the strange beat, and the light piano touches in the background on the chorus I look forward to hearing...but I know in the end about 2 weeks from now I will grow out of this tune.

Adele's also not that far from Gaga in the UK... Adele may return to No. 1 next week.
Not surprised by the large drop in sells. I don't care how big of a star someone is, pop music just does not sell like it used to. Which explains why the likes of Adele and Taylor Swift continue to to flourish why the Gagas and Britneys fail. Hell, Rihanna and Katy all have a shitload of #1 hits yet their albums have barely cracked a million worldwide I think people are just making it a big deal just because Gaga is the biggest star on the earth right now and people just want to see her crumble.

Yes I did this girl just don’t give a fuck . It's cool though that more legends are embracing her she is moving up for real.
