No way, dude. Have you ever stepped in unicorn shit? Not pleasant. It's impossible to get rid of the smell and, worst of all, it burns!

gaga born this way Lady GaGas Born This Way Breaks New Record

If the music industry thought Lady GaGa could shock it no further, it would be advisable for it to reconsider.

Just one day after it was announced that the singer’s latest LP ‘Born This Way’ had sold a whopping 1 million copies in the US in its first week alone, the album has gone onto break a record that even her staunchest of critics will have trouble ignoring.

Find out exactly what that is below…

The release has now sold 2 million copies worldwide in a single week, making it the fastest selling album of the year – globally.

Debuting at #1 on more than 12 charts across the globe, this accomplishment makes ‘Born’ GaGa’s most well received commercial effort to date. Already awarded with Platinum certifications in both New Zealand and Australia, the LP is now 2x platinum in Brazil and holds the record for having the highest first week sales for any artist on the Official UK Album chart this year.

Needless to say, there’s no stopping GaGa. Paws

Personally, I think it won't. "The Fame" had the big success of Just Dance, and then PokerFace, which was even bigger. And then the huge success of Bad Romance/Telephone/Alejandro and the "Fame Monster", which was seen as a direct sequel that increased the sales of the original and still fresh "The Fame".

But now, Judas has been a flop already. 2 million copies sold after the first week, yes, but negative word of mouth ("the album is too weird, not as catchy as the Fame, she's gone too far", etc.) means that the album will "only" sell 6-7 million copies, or even 8. My prediction.

Of course, I could be totally wrong... HML could be a reasonably BIG hit...not sure about the rest of the songs...

I'm STILL stuped by the cover but I'm thinking... since most (well all) the songs have some direct connection with 1980s music, the cover kinda looks like a cheesy cover of some of those metal albums (particularly those by The Scorpions). So it must be some concept into the 1980s. Even "Americano" sounds like it could find a place in a 1980s camp film.

That’s my wish honestly then Bloody Mary , Scheiße , Heavy Metal Lover and Marry The Night. Those would be my main singles.

Same here...the songs (except for BTW) didn't do as well as the Fame songs, which kept it in the charts.

On the other hand, Rihanna has hit after hit from her album, but the album doesn't sell that well (if you look at the number 1 songs that came from it)

I haven't really heard any of the BTW songs on radio or seen the videos in rotation unlike The Fame songs, I think they (radio and tv) really gave The Fame legs.
