Most of the ones who complain are Rihanna , Katy and ke$ha fans who want Gaga to be just like them She is reaching for bigger and better things not going backwards And OMG The Skorpion Show he still has the picture of him with Gaga on his twitter he rides her so hard.

Maybe it's down to personal preference? I will say that her abs looked nice in the "Born This Way" video.

Hold it; now that you've mentioned it, some folks here said that she had written a lot of songs with Akon for BTW. But hell, I can't find any trace of Akon on BTW, perhaps Gov Hooker but that's all...

Funny thing is Colby was the one who was suppose to blow up .. Akon was promoting them both but I remembered him mention more than Just Dance and Poker face took off the rest is history People forget she under Akon.

Off topic but I think any Gaga related threads are being locked and redirected here. Is The Remix album worth a listen? Typically I loathe remix albums but this one might be worth it just for the cover:

My favorite is the one of her with the glasses on. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

RIGHT! And it's funny how Colby just got lost in the shuffle of all that was going on. Akon knew where the money was heading so he was like "fuck Colby!" Another YouTuber said "Akon ain't gotta worry about being broke, Gaga's making mad bread, he's set for life".

I actually remember drooling when I saw this picture (without the title). I was all like

The Akon tracks probably didn't get included on the album. I don't even hear his sound on the album like I did with "The Fame", which is probably why I couldn't fully dig "The Fame" like I did on most of "Fame Monster" because there was less Akon on that (I doubt he was even on that one). But he was definitely on "The Fame", you could hear him "singing" in the background on some songs especially "Just Dance" lol [Edited 5/30/11 19:22pm]

I dare say that she looks a little thicker in that pic.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Yeah her body definitely was thicker in the pic.

Poker Face (LLG Vs GIG Radio Mix Remix) LoveGame (Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix Feat Marilyn Manson) Paparazzi (Stuart Price Remix) I like it's not a must have imo but if you want to add to your collection pick it up.

the remixes are atrocious lol, but I downloaded that cover

Yeah, I think at this point it's totally subjective, because she doesn't look skinny to me at all, nor does she look fat. She just looks fit - thin, but still has plenty of curves. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

Just wondering do most guys find her attractive or it’s just the ass you guys like?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Oh no it's all of her. I don't know why but when I watched her slow drag walk at the end of "You & I", I was all like
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
not even on Gov Hooker?
if anything, this proves that Akon is done . Hell, after the flop of the MJ single, people said that he would only survive as GaGa's main collaborator... my eye
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Speaking of the ass, yeah, she's skinnier now but it's still plump
It's her face that's different now vs. The Fame days, if anything. Besides the prosthetics and crazy make-up, there's something different about her face. Not bad, just...different.
Other than "Just Dance" and "LoveGame", this sweet slice of pop was always a fave of mine from The Fame...

No I don't hear it at all.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I don’t find her ugly I don’t know why people keep saying that. You can’t tell by her outfits sometimes though
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I find her attractive.
I'm not a guy, though.
And to me she looks the same size in that Remix pic as she does in all her latest videos. Again - slender, but not shapeless.
I think a lot of it is that people's perception is fucked up nowadays, especially if they're American. The United States is the most obese country in the world, and it's to the point that obesity (or at least being pudgy) is commonplace, so now that's what people are used to seeing. So then if someone is actually at a normal, healthy weight, that looks foreign and weird to people. If you don't have a double chin or dimples in your knees, people look at you like you're starving to death. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I don't either. I just didn't like when she put those prosthetics on her face. She definitely doesn't need it. Without it I do think she's real pretty and attractive.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
the body is pure perfection. If I was Hannibal Lecter, she would be already in my belly
and the face, well, let's say that the face is not a turn off for me, in some pics she looks ok, in others I think she's gorgeous
and the attitude, she's probably a nudist, and that's a plus, I respect women who are not afraid to show her body...if they want to...
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
She's always struck me as a free-spirited exhibitionist.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I’m a girl and straight and I don’t think she’s ugly at all and yes I agree people have a certain definition of what's consider attractive smh.

Listening again right now from start to finish, to the full version, so might as well add my review while I'm here
Born This Way - Following MTN it feels even safer and a little too soft. Noble enough message but it feels a little basic and juvenile. Shares some qualities with MTN but lacks the punch and dynamism so I think the track sequencing is not the best. Repeated listens only increasingly reveal its dullness, unfortunately - 6/10
Government Hooker - Incessant, but unremarkable. Not good, not bad, just there. A little catchy, but not massively so. Musically ok, lacking a little variation. Not the worst way to spend 4 minutes, so skip or don't if time is short or not - 6/10
Judas - Unapologetic, familiar vocal gimmicks are starting to wear on me. The production is a little muddy and the structure a little clunky. Almost Stock Aitken Waterman-like chorus if it were a little lighter on the production. Sounds like it could've been conceived, written and recorded in a day - 5/10
Americano - Big, camp latin romp. She's obviously having fun, but maybe I'm a little too jaded to humour her on this. Style, delivery, production... don't feel worth discussing. At is core it's just not a very good song - 4/10
Hair - Horrible production and instrumentation choices, aside from the oft-used but still always pleasing distorted bassline breakdown sections. The rest of the track reminds of those one-hit wonder European dance acts of the 90s, except not quite as catchy. It takes far less than a Lady Gaga to make this track and only slightly more than a 2Unlimited - 4/10
Scheibe - Musically some nice sections, but again some very lightweight SAW-esque parts that any 'grown' artist should be ashamed of. 2:09-2:16 is real nice, but all in all this is very average fare - 5.5/10
Bloody Mary - Doesn't have a strong hook, but the overall feel is cool. Nice and clean, good instrumentation choices. Maybe runs ever so slightly too long, but it's no biggie. A cool listen - 7.5/10
Black Jesus - Amen Fashion - Tight production and some interesting retro electronic sounds, but again very, very lightweight in places. Nice section from 2:22, but just average overall - 5.5/10
Bad Kids - All round weak and unremarkable. Doesn't push any buttons, even the 'wha? I think I hate this!' ones, which to me makes it worse than that - 3/10
Fashion Of His Love - Again with the SAW-esque sounds, but they work better here in many places than on other tracks. Some of this could've been on a Now! 11 tape and would've been great with the top down during summer holidays. The last minute to the fade out is just plain good fun - 7.5/10
Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) - Big, anthemic hook, but it's a bit messy overall. Makes me cringe and smile in similar measures - 6.5/10
Heavy Metal Lover - Top-notch. Nuanced stuff, nice feel and sound here. Not messy production, but lots of perfectly executed little touches throughout. A really well-conceived song - 8.5/10
Electric Chapel - Of course instantly conjures up 'Voyage Voyage' by Desireless, which to begin with is a plus as that's a great song. It's pleasing enough but feels like it's piggybacking a bit too much on its influences, so the lack of originality ultimately marks it down a bit - 5.5/10
The Queen - Some really nice vocals here, but it's sprawling and unfortunately lacks, well, being a good song - 5/10
You And I - It's safe and pleasant. There's not too much you can say about it. Instrumentation and singing are solid and there are no surprises here. It's different to much of the album and I don't think that's a bad thing for the record as a whole piece of work - 6/10
The Edge Of Glory - Cheesy and stompy, it's not daring or interesting in any way. Hook is catchy enough, but like several other tracks it's just too lightweight to really force you to love or hate it - 5/10
So with many listens under my belt this non-fan/very casual fan has found some songs are growers and overall I probably like it a little more than I expected or first thought. To me there's still a lot of mediocre stuff here, several songs just being weak at their core, with the production and arrangement not helping and often hindering. The high points are good though. I'm liking it more than I did on the first few listens. I could make a 5 or 6 track EP that would really cater to my tastes, and that's not too bad.
